‘an affair with d (sic) pope’ is a single-channel video that takes its title from a tweet posted by a famous Indian actor in response to a co-star claiming to have been in a relationship with him. Both went on various news channels in India giving interviews to state their versions of the story in complete contradiction of each other. I use both television interviews to create a third narrative where a new intimacy is formed, and in doing so, truth itself becomes a place of fiction-making.
